My Project
Every year in class we read the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. It is a favorite book of students who always request reading the sequel in class together. I've never had a class set to make this a reality. This year I hope this will all change.
I would like a class set of The Horse and His Boy to continue the Narnia adventure with my students.
I hope this will spark a reading passion and encourage them to read the other books that come next in the requested Narnia boxed set.
The language and style of writing has helped my students exceed expectations in reading fluency and comprehension so encouraging their love of this genre not only entertains them but pushes them academically to new levels and gets them to think more critically about characters and even argue about them with peers.
It has become clear that this series is a must have in my classroom and your kind and generous support will bring so much adventure and happiness to my students.
