Kindergarten is such a big step in a child's life. It is exciting for both the parent and the child when they arrive on the first day of school. My students are eager to learn, and I am eager to teach them. I love to see the growth that comes in Kindergarten.

The classroom environment has a big impact on their learning and on the way that we teach. I want my students to be engaged in their learning and to create a classroom environment that is flexible and comfortable for them. This will help them to stay engaged in their work and to want to learn.
My Project
My kindergarteners love coming to school and learning new things. They are eager to do their very best and I want to create an environment where they can. We have started using flexible seating and they are able to do their very best work since they can find a place in the classroom where they are comfortable and ready to work.
These materials will be adding to our flexible seating and will really help us to create the kind of environment we are looking for.
We will also be able to do some fun activities with the tables since they are whiteboard tables and the students will be able to practice writing their letters and sight words right on the table! I can't wait to see the excitement this adds to their learning.
