My Students
My first-grade classroom is filled with fun first graders! They have so much fun learning as readers, writers, and explorers. Each day, my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. They are excited to learn new things that will help prepare them for the world.
They are proud to be a part of the classroom community, and they are beginning to appreciate the diversity in their classroom community.
In the midst of unique personalities and needs, my students are learning how to support one another.
My Project
In this project, I included a variety of professional texts that will help me to develop my craft in teaching literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. Some of the texts include titles such as, “Choice Words: How Our Language Affects Children’s Learning”, “Pathways to Common Core: Accelerating Achievement” and “Choice Time: How to Deepen Learning Through Inquiry and Play.”
Each school year, I grow in different ways as an educator.
I love learning and discovering new ways to make learning fun and meaningful for my students.
These professional texts will help me develop lesson plans that promote language, and positive interactions that will build emotionally healthy classroom communities.
