My Students
Our art program is strong and thriving. Our students are serious artists. They curated their own art show this year in a local gallery, and they annually exhibit their work in the public library.
They come from a variety of backgrounds, but have all chosen our school because they are serious about their education.
With a focus on literature and writing, our school prepares them for high school, and eventually college acceptance. The arts enhance classroom learning, as the students complete hands-on projects that draw from history, geography, math and science. Students learn about famous artists, and experiment to discover their own artistic outlets. We hope to stock our classroom with the tools that our students need.
My Project
You can help our art classes continue to be a valuable part of the school day. By supporting the arts at our school, you will be helping to build an art program for a school that is growing and improving in achievement each year. Increasing numbers of students come through our doors, and that means that our art program can benefit more young people in our community. Students will learn about famous artists and artwork, and they will develop creative thinking skills through painting, drawing, sculpting and building. They will learn more about subjects taught in their classrooms, and they will gain an appreciation for art.
