My Project
My students just finished reading the book, House Arrest by K.A Holt. While reading this book we discussed topics of right vs. wrong, what is morally vs. legally right to do, guilt/regret, love, and family. Students loved the way this diary/free verse style book was written in. The book ended with a cliffhanger, where our main character, Timothy gets himself in trouble again and ends up in juvie due to the extensive measures he took to save his sick brother's life. The story also ends with a cliffhanger in terms of Levi's health status and Timothy's relationship with Dad.
