This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The books listed in this project will make a difference in my student's lives because they will change their view of reading. For students to become lifelong readers and build skills, they must first enjoy what they are reading!
Reading these books will challenge them to think about what makes us human.
Through their reflection as they read, they will be able to connect to people who are just like them and those who may be different from them. My students are motivated to learn and to improve their reading skills.
