Help me give my students new books that are next in their favorite series!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Radway's classroom raised $580
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of them have experienced challenges we adults could not imagine. Our diverse classrooms bring many different cultures and languages. School is a safe and engaging place for all students with different backgrounds to come together to play, build relationships, experience, learn and grow safely. My readers come to school eager and ready to engage in their day. We work hard to meet the needs of each of these students both academically and socially.
My Project
The books in this project are books that continue series that my students love. Students who love Jory John and Pete Oswald's Bad Seed and Good Egg series can't wait to get their hands on Couch Potato! Readers of Lauren Tarshis's I Survived series have been begging for I Survived the California Wildfires of 2018 and the newest graphic novel update of I Survived the Shark Attack of 1915.
Budding readers can't wait to get their hands on the next Bumble and Bee.
Dragon Masters fans are ready to continue their adventure and meet the Sound Dragon. Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans can't wait to see where Greg takes them next.
So many wonderful series have brand new books that my students are excited to read!
Finances are tight for many of my students' families. When they would normally get these books in their hands from the fall book fair, many were not able to purchase due to budgetary constraints at home. I want to be able to offer these extended series for my students so they can continue to devour their favorite characters and books!
