This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students learn best from working in cooperative groups and centers, not from a textbook, as I act as a facilitator.
We are in need of social studies centers that will help students to learn about continents and oceans, landforms, and world cultures.
These centers are hands-on and this will help to keep my students actively engaged. I know my students will enjoy learning about these social studies concepts with hands-on learning.
Students will get to handle maps and artifacts and really be immersed in the concepts.
