Help me give my students a sewing machine and embroidery supplies to fuel their creativity and enhance fine motor skills.

My Project

Creativity really is the spark that keeps kids wanting to learn! As an avid crafter and sewist, I want to share my passions and skills with my students. My plan is to offer one-on-one sewing lessons to students as well as group embroidery tutorials.

Creating things by-hand is great for teens' mental health, as it helps to reduce stress and anxiety.

The sewing machine and supplies will be used to make pencil pouches, book marks and tote bags. Students will also learn to cross-stitch and embroider with the provided kits.

I'm very excited to offer these things in the school library!
