My students need ready made STEAM kits. This kits will help students think more critically and learn how to problem solve as a team.

I teach at a school focused on making our students the best version of themselves. One way this is done is through hands-on activities. This allows students to find the job/role that best suits them , allowing them to focus on their strengths and to build on their weaknesses, making them more well rounded.
We are so very excited to be creating a Makerspace room and we need your help!
Makerspace is an area designated for students to tinker, explore, create and invent. The students will have opportunities to work on STEAM challenges and open ended Makerspace ideas. STEAM (which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) is at the forefront of education right now, and I have to say, WE ARE LOVING IT! Heard loves the hands-on learning approach. We love the idea of students building, creating, and exploring with their own two hands. Over the past couple of years, we have seen tremendous growth in how students think critically, work cooperatively, persist when challenged, and reflect on their failures, AKA learning experiences!
We are full STEAM ahead in education. Having ready made STEAM bundles will make lessons much easier for teachers and more fun for the students. I mean, who doesn't love designing, building, thinking and building so more?! This kids will allow students to use their critical thinking skills, encourage inquiry and teamwork all while solving real world problems. We are no longer teaching "subjects" in the tradition since, we are now teaching lessons through cross-curriculum instruction. This does just that. It combines science, math, reading, art, engineering and so much more. We really appreciate you making this project a reality for us!
