My Students
I love teaching high school students about American ideals and government.
My students are eager to understand their place in the world and how they can participate in democracy.
They love to discuss current events and what rights are protected by the Bill of Rights.
My goal is to help my awesome students feel confident about their ability to participate in democracy and be life-long active citizens, as well as understand economics.

My Project
My senior government classes would love to have their own copies of the Constitution to keep upon graduation. We will refer to it throughout the semester. For example, we have been looking for evidence of the Six Principles of A Government in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Teaching Economics can be dry... help me spice it up!
I am also looking for ways to teach the CA. Framework: What is capitalism? What are the benefits and problems? The documentary "Capitalism: a Six Part Series" would greatly complement our textbook.
I look forward to using these materials, in addition to other projects and activities.
