This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A colleague and I would like each student to have a pocket-sized copy of the Constitution. In these changing times, this will prove to be a valuable Civic resource. We have few to no resources that students can have on their desks due to budget constraints.

The Constitution will be used as a critical reference during class time and also as part of our daily silent reading practice during the first 15 minutes of each class.

This resource will help students make connections to government issues and their individual rights and freedoms.
