My Students

My students are avid readers who are excited for the newest books. I cannot have enough graphic novels and manga to keep them satisfied. It is, by far, the most popular section of the library and especially helps our reluctant readers! The students give me recommendations of books they wish we had in the library, and it is hard to keep up. More graphic novels will keep the students engaged and excited.

My Project

Now that we have returned to school, I cannot have enough graphic novels and comic books. The students are checking out dozens every day and they are so excited and happy to peruse our small (but mighty) comics section. With these new books, I will be able to keep students engaged and excited to come to the library.

It is important to update the comic books regularly as they are checked out constantly and receive the most attention of any books in the library.

Reluctant readers in particular gravitate to comic books and it is so nice to be able to show them new books regularly to try to keep them reading and happy to be in the library.
