My Project
I currently teach first grade students. My students' social development was impacted through COVID-19. Covid hit when my students would be learning socialization, listening, and speaking skills. By providing a classroom rug I will provide a resource that allows our class to come together for bonding, discussion, and learning. Our class builds community and connection when we are at our classroom rug. We use this for our morning meetings, group work, and a place for space when a child needs a brain break. By having a corporate classroom rug, my students will have a place where they can connect and learn from one another. This will allow them more opportunities to learn the appropriate social skills they missed during COVID.
