The students in my class come from a wide variety of backgrounds. We work together to create a safe and open learning community.
In Mrs. Randall's class we are ALL teachers and we are ALL learners!
Here we go out of our way to make sure each student's special talent shines and is utilized to the benefit of the whole class. There is no slacking or hacking in third grade!
Each and every day is a new adventure with these bright, young, inquiring minds.
My Project
We already have licenses for individualized learning on-line in math through SucessMaker and for reading through Imagine Learning. We also use UtahCompose for writing instruction and reflection. These are all dynamic programs that greatly increase student knowledge and productivity. Unfortunately, we have limited access to our school's shared computers. Having all-day access to the Chromebooks will foster independence and proactive learning.
We will use these Chromebooks to connect to the global informational exchange.
We are an International Baccalaureate school, which means we are internationally-minded. Students will benefit across the curriculum. Students will be able to enrich or remediate their own learning and produce projects that show off their knowledge and talents.
