This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing. They come from all over the world, speak dozens of languages, work hard every day, and love science! My school is truly heaven, and the students I have the privilege of teaching, are the best I've ever known. I'm the luckiest teacher alive.

My students rock science.

My students are motivated and engaged. I love watching them learn and watching them grow. My greatest hope is that each child leaves my classroom believing that science is the greatest class ever, and the kind, generous gifts DonorsChoose donors have given us have made that happen!

My Project

This year, our school - and entire district - will begin online. All instruction will be given using the Google for Education platform. This Chromebook is essential for me to teach my students!

Your generosity will make it possible for me to reach my students!

I will use this Chromebook every single day, to plan for and deliver instruction. I will use it to create interactive lessons that include independent study and research, as well as group work. I will also use it to create and grade assignments, and provide enrichment activities. I will use it when my students and I are online, as well as when we are not together virtually.
