Connecting Our School With Nearby Front-Line Workers

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work for a Title I school with one of the lowest socioeconomic communities in the state, so I have created this project to educate students about the many front-line professionals that work directly in the community that surrounds their school and homes while also creating a sense of appreciation and unity between them.
This project is designed to give students the opportunity to have hands-on experience to create personalized messages of appreciation for nearby frontline workers that are in their community.
This project includes materials that students can use to create personalized shirts and tumblers that will be delivered to our community's front liners. In addition to showing the front-line workers our appreciation, I am hoping to bring awareness to the students of how close the workers are, to not only our school but also their homes, while also bringing them a sense of security and comfort for their own wellness.
