My Students

I have been a primary teacher for the past 11 years! This coming year I will be teaching my 2nd year in 3rd grade.

The students at Nye are hard working, caring and eager to learn.

This doesn't change with online/distance learning. We will be starting the school year fully online. While this is different and at times feels challenging I know we will succeed!

Teaching and learning from home can be challenging and the items I am requesting will help me to reach my students better. I would love to be able to mail them all a hand written note/card with some fun stickers. I feel that receiving a letter in the mail will help build the community we normally would in the classroom. The Teachers Pay Teachers credit will help me to purchase resources for my students to engage and support my students during distance learning.

My Project

With my school in full distance learning these materials will be used to help me make connections with my students! I will be able to mail them each 2 cards! I feel that being able to send them a hand written note with some fun stickers will help develop a classroom community even though we are not together in person.
