it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing. They come from all over the world, speak dozens of languages, work hard every day, and love science! My school is truly heaven, and the students I have the privilege of teaching, are the best I've ever known. I'm the luckiest teacher alive.

My students are motivated and engaged. I love watching them learn and watching them grow. My greatest hope is that each child leaves my classroom believing that science is the greatest class ever, and the kind, generous gifts DonorsChoose donors have given us have made that happen!
My Project
My students deserve the best instruction possible. With remote learning, that means finding ways to engage students. Interactivity is key, and interactivity requires subscription services.
The resources in this project will help me reach and teach my beloved students.
Nearpod will empower me to create vibrant, interactive Google Slides and other presentations that I can use WITH my students during instructional time. This is essential for connecting with my students as human beings; the technology I have only allows me to connect to my students online. Nearpod will take it one step further to enhance communication with student input.
Wizer will allow me to create interactive online student sheets. They can include video, text, voice recordings... you name it! Student assignments will become MUCH more personal; students will be able to complete and present projects in ways that are authentic and engaging for them.
