My Project
To help my students succeed, I am requesting essential classroom tools that will support both academic growth, accessibility and sensory needs. Students benefit from a comfortable learning space customized for them. I have spent years creating that space for my students. I am requesting several essential items to help us work more efficiently and enhance learning: file holders to securely store our Chromebooks; a power strip to resolve our recurring issue of not having a dedicated charging station; and a wireless keyboard that allows students better access to our class Smart Board. In addition, I need storage for headphones to keep our audio tools organized, a clock to help our students manage their time effectively, and a pencil sharpener to ensure that writing tools are always ready for use. Finally, a kettle for hot water is requested so that I can provide hot chocolate and oatmeal for students when they come in hungry, creating a welcoming and nurturing start to their day.
