Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class will grow vegetables using the hydroponics system you are graciously helping us fund and connect our learning with our impact.
We want to see students engaged in what they grow and experience firsthand the joy of checking how a piece of lettuce or other plants grow.
We want to make them understand where food comes from, and how to connect the nitrogen cycle, the carbon and oxygen cycles with themselves. We will also include a project-based learning unit on human impact. Thank you so much for considering us.
