My Project
My students are so awesome. They come to school every day ready to learn. Despite their best efforts, they struggle with emotional and learning difficulties.
As they are growing and developing, they continue to struggle with basic hygiene awareness and skills.
As an educator, it is my job to collaborate with their parents and assist with educating my students towards being healthy and responsible in their everyday hygiene routine.
Good personal hygiene plays a critical role in promoting a positive self-image and reinforces healthy habits. Many of our students lack the basic necessities to maintain good hygiene and hygiene practices.
We encourage these good hygiene strategies at school and would love to extend them to our students' homes. We have a high number of students who live in poverty and cannot afford deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. It's these necessities no child should go without.
