Confidence Kits: Providing Essential Period Products for our Female Students

My Project

My students inspire me every day with their resilience, kindness, and drive to succeed despite the challenges they face. Each one brings something unique to our school community, from their curiosity to their diverse dreams for the future. Many come from low-income backgrounds, and for some, access to period products is a barrier to their comfort and focus on school. By providing these essential hygiene items, we can help our students feel at ease, build their confidence, and allow them to concentrate on their learning without distractions.

The goal of this project is to break down barriers to attendance and engagement by ensuring our teen girls have the period products they need.

With these resources, female students can stay present in class, actively participate, and focus on their academics.

What makes my students truly special is their ability to overcome challenges. This project will empower them to continue learning with confidence and dignity, knowing they have the support they need to succeed.
