This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their strength, heart, and potential. They come to school each day ready to learn, even when they face challenges most people never see. Many of my students don’t always have access to basic personal hygiene products outside of school—but they still show up, push through, and do their best.

By providing these essential items—like deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, and period products—we’re not just meeting physical needs; we’re helping them feel seen, cared for, and ready to learn.

When students feel clean and confident, they participate more, focus better, and carry themselves with pride. These simple resources can lift invisible burdens and allow students to focus on being who they are meant to be—learners, leaders, and kind humans.

Every donation makes a real difference in a student’s day and helps create a learning environment where they can thrive.
