This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a high school resource teacher, I work with students who find school to be difficult. The population that I work with requires check-ins regarding their academic performance. Because of this, my students conference with me about their grades on a weekly basis. The current desk we use to conference is wobbly and broken.
This new desk will give my students a more positive learning environment and will be less distracting as well, since it won't wobble anymore!
The other supplies, such as the mechanical pencils and folders, will allow my students to have the materials they need to be successful in their academic classes. The magnets will allow me to post important information and announcements on the whiteboard.
