it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My middle school dance students are eager to learn about conditioning and strengthening techniques, connecting dance to other sports and activities they enjoy. To support their curiosity, we need proper classroom supplies that will help them document their progress, understand muscle engagement, and safely participate in conditioning exercises. With notebooks, foam blocks, and clipboards, students can take organized notes, explore creative conditioning methods, and have a stable surface for writing—even without desks.
My students love discovering how dance conditioning applies to their overall athleticism, boosting their engagement in class.
However, damaged foam blocks and a lack of notebooks and clipboards make it difficult for them to fully explore these concepts. Your support will provide them with the tools they need to track their growth, strengthen safely, and keep their materials (and our floors) protected. Together, we can help them build a stronger foundation in dance and fitness.
