This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are diligent, hardworking, and deeply motivated to succeed academically. However, no matter how dedicated my students are, they cannot do it alone. Students only have the tools and resources their school and their teacher can provide them with. They have the basics they need to learn in my science classes, but there's a whole world of different technologies out there which I know would so enrich their learning experiences. My students yearn for more than just textbooks and worksheets.
My students deserve a chance to interact with their science lessons in the most vibrant, comprehensive, and technologically-modern way possible.
They crave a Science Classroom filled with resources, adventure, and exploration!
My Project
There are various topics, such as Punnett Squares, Ecosystems, Cell Division, Cell Structure, DNA, Enzymes, etc.throughout science and Biology that students cannot only read about, they must visualize them as well. Although our textbooks have images of all of these concepts, they don’t do them justice. That’s where these Die Cutting & Embossing Machines come in!
Using Die Cutting & Embossing Machines, students will be able to design and then create models and representations of different scientific concepts!
Students will be able to make creative interactive posters and presentations demonstrating different topics using materials coming from these machines!
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
