Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our school purchased leap frogs a year ago but only provided us with 4 games to play with. Throughout the year, the children have gotten tired of listening to the same things over and over again. Therefore the leap frogs have lost their popularity. I believe the leap frogs are an awesome educational resource for enrichment, but I understand why the children don't like using them anymore. The same goes with the computers. We have three computers in the classroom but cannot let the students access them because there are no programs on the computers, or the programs that were installed on them years ago don't work anymore. In order to make learning concepts and standards more interesting for the children I am requesting some software for the computer and new games for the leap frogs. I don't want to see the wonderful technology in our classrooms go to waist. The students will definitely benefit in various ways: through reading, writing, phonics, comprehension, mathematics, and learning how to use a computer.
