This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 100 fourth grade bilingual students. They are full of life and come in ready to learn!! All of my students receive free lunch. Their families struggle financially and asking them to pay extra for this magazine would be out of the question. My students want to learn and are excited about learning! We are an inner city school, with funding issues and work daily to give our students the best we can. It is a challenge but exciting!

My Project

My classroom just received an extremely generous donation of 30 brand NEW chromebooks. Now, we could really use a cart for storage. It would be amazing to have a place to store the computers, so they will be ready to work at any given moment and we can move forward in our positive learning environment! Without this cart keeping these computers charged will be a daunting task for my students. My tech masters will be extremely excited and grateful for this donation, so their in class "tech job" will be much easier for them to accomplish quickly! Thanks much.
