This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is adding in more robotic coding opportunities for our elementary students. We have been slowing adding more as generous donors have given us robots to expand our learning. The two robots we are looking at adding is an additional Sphero Indi Robot and a Finch Robot which we do not have.

The Finch Robot incorporates art into coding with robots.

Our school is a TurnAroundArts school and adding in a robot that codes art would be a neat project.

We currently have one Indi Robot. Students are all signing up to be the next person to code it. It has been an exciting addition to our STEM lab. I have used the Indi Robot with Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grade. It has been the talk of the school.
