My Students

My students are highly motivated, hard-working, and dedicated to their academics. My students learn Digital Information Technology, Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles, and Advanced Placement Computer Science A.

We are a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) school.

Our school is the only public magnet school in Florida that resides on a public university campus. Our classroom infuses STEM into the curriculum to allow students to have cross-curricular instruction that incorporates their core subject areas while providing students with critical thinking skills.

My Project

In Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science A class, students are learning programming with Java. This hands on class gives students a real world, hands on application to programming and the world of Computer Science. Students are able to create a program that includes user input, functionality, and output.

Learning Computer Science (CS) is essential in our 21st century technological world.

The resources from Teachers Pay Teachers will provide for additional hands-on, real world learning of Computer Science skills and prepare students with additional resources for the end of year AP exam.
