Computer Science and Arduino: What Could Be a Better Pair?

My Project

Teenagers love computers. Arduino helps teach computer science, students, about hardware, binary, programming, and planning. In my computer science class, we've been doing all of our computer studies with a certain amount of theoretical studies. Arduinos will help make those concepts a reality.

Students will see how bits change the amount of power that goes through a switch and will see how hardware and software work together.

They will see how their programming changes the hardware. How turning a switch off and on changes things in real-time. How programming is telling a computer to turn switches on and off.

Arduino is a glimpse inside a computer. It's a chance to see exactly how the concepts they've learned about translate to an actual computer.
