Computer Mice

Help me give my students computer mice to help teach them computer skills.

My Students

My ELA grade 7/8 students are the best in the world! Everyday they have to deal with all that comes with being Autistic. They are brave and excited about life and the opportunities it has to offer them. They love to learn and want to succeed.

My students thrive in an environment where they feel safe and have a routine.

It would be really great for them to know that when I put something on for them to hear that the speakers will work and will not be mixed with white noise.

My Project

These computer mice will help assist our students in typing essays and learning Digital Literacy. They take state tests online and the use of mice would be beneficial. The students are all at different levels of learning and many will benefit from the use of assistive technology as they are taught in class.

Using the touch-pad on our Chromebooks is difficult for some students and the mice will benefit those who struggle to use it and feel like they perform best when using one.

Assistive technology devices help the students focus on their work without other distractions that detract from their learning.
