This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are K-5th grade students! They are both general education and special education students and they are made up of English Language Learners and students whose first language is English. We are a very diverse community.

My students have me for a 45-minute Computer Science and/ or Character Ed class at least once per week.

My students are eager to learn and are making progress each week.

The students are highly motivated by hands-on activities and project-based learning. Currently, due to social distancing guidelines, computer is on the go in their classroom rather than in the computer lab.

My Project

I am getting supplies for my students and teachers that access the computer lab to have the necessary tools to function which includes keyboards where you can actually see all the letters. I also got supplies so that the students can print on a variety of different color cardstock to print on, along with a variety of different color paper for them to use for various projects. I also added a variety of pens and pencils for them to use. All these supplies will make running the Computer Lab much easier.
