This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In a world of technology, everything is being done online now. Technology is always changing and accidents tend to happen especially to 8 and 9-year-old students in charge of said technology. Students have had their devices since the COVID year and that was a while ago. Some students have damaged devices and some have even lost their chargers. Damaged devices are things we can work with but low/no battery devices we can't.
My students need chargers to readily use their devices in the classroom for activities and assessments.
I have planned and organized an area in my classroom to create a charging station for students to use when their laptops need charging. My goal is to facilitate using laptops in the classroom so that everyone has access to the online content and activities we do every day. My students will have one less thing to worry about when it comes to their devices.
