My students enter the classroom each morning with positivity, hope, and an eagerness to learn. Each day, they work hard to understand new math and reading concepts on a personalized learning platform called Summit. Their joy when they master a focus area is overwhelming and encouraging.
My students are the future.
They are future police officers, dancers, doctors, lawyers, and teachers. They are dedicated at a young age to their education, and I want to help them grow however I can.
My Project
This charging station cart and adaptor chargers will allow the computers to be charged completely each evening. Right now, only ten computers are fully charged each morning, causing students to have to change seats and disrupt learning to use their computer. All of my students' learning happens on the computer, so when it's not charged they are setting themselves up for failure.
A computer cart and more chargers will streamline learning, and ensure my students are working at their highest level each day.
I am grateful for the tools my classroom has for learning, and I am looking forward to giving my students the last piece to this puzzle.
