My students are a bunch of sweet and sensational second graders who love to read and talk about their books to one another.
In order to talk about the books they are reading, they have to understand what they are reading about.
The reading comprehension games that I've asked for will help develop the children's reading comprehension in a fun and exciting way. The new games will also motivate my children to want to learn more strategies in reading comprehension so they can read more difficult books.
The books that I've asked for will be used with children working in book clubs. Book Clubs are a great way for children to build comprehension by sharing with other children their understanding of the books that they're reading together. So please help my children build their understanding of the books they're reading by sending us the games and sets of chapter books that we're asking for.
