My Project
We are creating project-based learning opportunities for our students. My class wants to set up a composting system on our school campus as a way to recycle the food waste in our cafeteria and create nutrient-rich soil for our gardens. We will be learning what it is to be responsible citizens and how everyone can make a difference in improving our environment.
Students will learn the benefits of composting, recycling, and cutting down on waste while they are also able to beautify our campus.
Composting bins are needed to get our projects started. The see-through bin will help students learn about what takes place when they compost. This project provides our students with hands-on experience and is something they can recreate in their own homes.
