This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Occupational therapy provides students with the skills they need to excel and become independent students. This year, with your help, students will explore new and inventive ways to acquire the skills they need. They will be able to learn paper doll making using adaptive scissors to create something they can later play with at home or in class. They will leanr how to make their very own writing tools and visual aids with a 3D printer. And lastly they will explore thier sensory systems with sesnory pathways in their hallways and tactile experinces by learning the skills to compost!
