My Project
In first grade we do a lot of workshop learning. We do a writing workshop where we learn to write narratives, persuasive texts, informational texts and so on. Half of these composition notebooks will be used for writing workshop time. We need the ones with the space for pictures on the top, because we are only 1st graders and a lot of the time the students will draw their pictures before writing their stories.
We also do a lot of Science investigations. Students are required to draw a picture of what happened during the Science investigation, and then what they think happened in their own words. These composition notebooks are extremely important to our learning!
