Completing the Loop

Help me give my students a refresh for next year. I loop with my students and they will need new headphones and pencil pouches. The stools will add to some variation to my flexible seating collection.

My Project

My school does looping between fourth and fifth grades. I am currently beginning the loop with my fourth graders and will be completing the loop with them as fifth graders. Looping has proven to be an amazing model in our school with students showing tremendous growth and readiness when they leave for middle school.

Knowing that they would be in the same class next year, my students have been champions at protecting and preserving supplies, but some supplies have a finite lifespan.

One of those supplies is headphones. We use headphones every day in every class.

Students need earbuds to carry with them to their other classes and over the ear headphones to use for state testing. The bulk of this project's cost is in headphones.

I also supply pencil pouches for the students to carry back and forth to their classes. This is yet another supply that doesn't always stand the test of time. Finally, the stools. My class has flexible seating options and some of the squishier stools are becoming flat. The students have asked for more hard stools to replace the soft ones we currently have.
