Help me give my students the additional desks needed to complete a classroom set, so they have the ability to collaborate and engage with their classmates as they follow distance guidelines.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kindergarten students are enthusiastic young scholars that are currently attending school in person. Everyday my students enter my classroom ready to embark a new day, eager learn, explore, create and share with their classmates.
My students come from working families that are making every effort to support their children while adjusting to continuous guidelines.
My students demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm to learn new concepts while looking forward to interactive activities with their peers. Although they are making the best of the current situation, it is evident that they are thrilled to be back in the classroom with their peers even if they are to adhere to guidelines.
My Project
The additional desk will prevent the students who do not have an individual desk from feeling excluded from the rest of the class. The desk will ensure that all students feel included in the classroom community. All students will have the opportunity and flexibility to arrange their desk to work with different classmates.
The individual seating allows students to engage, adapt, and understand their peers while they complete classroom assignments.
The opportunity to collaborate and work with each other allows
students to problem solve differences while establishing a positive learning atmosphere. My students engage in partner work throughout the day. A great portion of student engagement takes place as they discuss literature concepts. My students enjoy reading and sharing with their peers. Providing my students with multiple opportunities to work with each other allows them develop a passion for learning while developing their relationships.
