it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students
My students have continued to work hard following distance learning despite struggling with learning challenges, inconsistent technology, and limited resources and materials.
I would love to create a welcoming space to provide support for my students’ social emotional needs. I started one in my classroom but it is missing sensory materials.
My Project
My students love coming to my resource class and their favorite corner of my class is the beanbag corner. Sometimes they use it to read or practice their target words they are learning. It also helps many of my students with special needs calm down on their hardest days. Currently I have seating for 4 but would love to expand the space. I would love to provide a new exciting area with additional sensory materials that will inspire my students to use strategies to calm down and stay grounded.
