My Project
Our classroom is a vibrant community of young learners, and I am committed to nurturing not only their academic growth but also their social and emotional development.
Early childhood is a critical period for developing social-emotional skills that lay the foundation for a lifetime of empathy, kindness, and understanding.
I strive to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that cultivates compassion and empathy where every student feels valued and heard.
To achieve this goal, I am seeking support to implement a series of activities and resources that will help my students develop a deeper understanding of compassion and empathy. These resources will include conversation cubes to help my students focus and clearly verbalize their feelings and to be able to listen to others, making good choice puzzles to help my students see the possible outcomes of their actions, and hands-on activities that encourage students to recognize and appreciate the feelings of others, understand diverse perspectives, and practice kindness in their daily interactions. The snacks and incentives will be used as a reward system for students who show empathy and compassion to others.
