My Project
What I love most about my students is their resilience, their unique personalities, and the way they show up each day with so much potential to grow—not just academically, but emotionally and socially. I love watching them discover who they are and who they want to be in the world. My classroom is more than a place to learn reading or math; it's a community where students are seen, valued, and supported.
The resources I’ve chosen will help meet my students where they are and guide them toward who they’re becoming.
Team-building games will foster trust and collaboration, helping them build empathy and strong peer connections. Self-regulation tools and feelings supports will give them concrete ways to manage big emotions and build confidence in navigating challenges. The age-appropriate books will reflect diverse experiences and help them understand themselves and others more deeply. Altogether, these resources will create a compassionate, empowering space where students feel safe, successful, and ready to grow.
