This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of my kindergartners are new to school and have never been in a school setting interacting with other kids their age. Everything has been repetitive, routine, and lots of visuals to learn how everything works in a school setting. I try to do centers three times a day to get them to interact with each other and learn from each other. My kindergartners have a hard time being compassionate to one on another and this is the reason I would love to have materials and books to help us learn and read about it to be able to understand what it means and what we can do to be compassionate humans!
I want to read books to them that will demonstrate compassion and we can role play!
I want the materials to help us learn compassion as well as be patient with others!
