This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have books and resources to learn about homelessness in our community and how our compassion towards others can make an impact. Students will be able to make real-life connections to the struggles of the homeless. Then also how their compassion for these underprivileged individuals can make a positive impact on their lives. After we learn about this issue in our community our students will prepare care packages in order to donate to a local charity that supports the homeless within our city. Helping others just because we are kind and compassionate citizens.
