Help me give my students an awesome dramatic play center with baby dolls, highchair and crib.

My Students
My awesome school is located in the middle of Minneapolis. I like to consider our school a "melting pot". Our students come from many different cultures as well as different socioeconomic backgrounds. We are about 75% free and reduced lunch.
My kindergarten students finally started school in the classroom.
With that being said I need to create a classroom that is spaced safely in pods and will meet the needs of all my students. I want my students to feel comfortable in a pod where they will be sharing items.
My Project
Many Kindergarteners are familiar with babies. Even if they don’t have a small sibling at home, they might have friends and relatives that do. And nothing is more adorable than pretend parent showing tender, loving care to baby dolls!
Caring for others is a skill that only gets better with practice!
Pretending to care for babies and acting out roles such as “parent,” “babysitter,” “sister,” “grandpa,” and more helps build understanding about the different viewpoints.
A library center is another example of a fantastic place to practice literacy skills. There are so many books out there about babies! Also, students can practice “reading’ to their babies.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
