Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is designed to support the students of our school by providing them with the tools they need to create certificates, awards, and programs that honor the organizations serving their school and community. The items requested will directly impact student learning by enhancing their skills in design, presentation, and event preparation. Materials like a printer, certificates, and laminating pouches will help students develop practical business skills while nurturing their creativity and sense of responsibility through meaningful community service.
Students are members of the FFEA Club who are creating certificates and awards for organizations in the community who service our school in several ways.
Through this project, students take on leadership roles by designing and producing professional-quality documents used in school and community ceremonies. In return, the organizations provide the students with valuable community service hours, an important requirement for graduation without the need for them to work in public spaces that may not always be safe. This project not only creates a secure environment for students to serve but also instills pride in their contributions and the recognition they help bring to others. These students are incredibly special: despite the economic challenges of their surroundings, they show commitment, compassion, and drive, using their creativity to give back and grow professionally.
