Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been working on a Civic Action Project, where they take action on an issue that matters to them. Some students did clothing and food drives, cleaned up local creeks and trails, spoke to City Council, wrote letters to government officials, created infographics, and taught middle school students about the harms of drugs, alcohol, vaping, and social media addiction.
I have arranged a community event for them to present their projects, so that the wider world can see all of the hard work they have put into their projects.
I would love for them to have posters that showcase their work and that is why I am requesting the Poster Display Boards for the students.
